Some xml-parser errors in 0.7.2

There is somethin wrong in xml-coding of stings.
I din't find it...no time to look...
If i put ä to FiFI.strings it must be
like ä (�), but it is Ä (�) and ¤ (�)

Also it funny when i use 8-bit char's. Some time
parser works sometime not. If in same line
is like �ä it don't fail, but if i take ä 
off, if fails.
