Writing specs for fields ?

I understand that paul, who is implementing fields will be too busy to code for a 
while now.

I dont know how to reach him directly, so I write here.

Would it perhaps be possible for Paul to act more as a project leader than coder and 
tell others what functionality must be tested/added and so on. This way the job could 
continue while he is "away".
