fields and gnome-db intergation and weekly news

in in the future plans an integration with gnome-db
and fields?

there is someone taking care about weekly news that are stopped?

can I help? since I'm not hacking:)

(btw my english in not so good;)

if users looks at the site seems that the project is dead
but it's not (right?;)

so if someone can tell me how to post the weekly news i will
be happy to do this
