This would certainly be nice.  I don't think we should try to cut off
discussion of this topic (as Bob suggested), althought implementation now
would be *very* premature.  All these messages do suggest that some of us
(myself included) are not spending enough time fixing real problems.

Please.  Scripting language debates are one thing, but we already have
chosen C++, and don't need a flamewar about it.
