Object: flickering problem

Hi,
First of all, congratulations for your product, I really appreciate it's
user-friendly look and feel.
However, I do have a problem of flickering on my configuration that causes
eye strain after a long use of abiword.

My configuration: cyrix 200+, 32Mo sdram, mystique 1st generation,
RedHat5.2.

Go on developping this great software, I'm sure it'll become a linux classic
