I was thinking CGI.  If you are offering to help with this, I am all ears.
In fact, I would go so far as to say make this your baby, and do it
whatever way you think is best.  The only requirement is that it has to be
cross-platform.  A CGI script on the abisource site seemed like the way to
go.
