Should work kinda like the Windows one... differences are: Unix splash implemented via X "pop-up" style window, which doesn't seem to get key presses. You can still click on the window to make it die prematurely, or just wait 2 seconds. I also haven't found a way to construct the window, then the GR_UnixGraphics (using the windows's gc as a canvas), then SHOW the result. I have to show the window first, then create the GR_UnixGraphics (which can take a while), then show everything. The result is a bit of grey time in the back of the splash window. No big deal, but I'd appreciate any fixes anyone has. -- Shaw Terwilliger
