Some problems with the word importer...

I friend has tried to use abiword for reading a word file (I've attached
it).
The word file is imported correctly (more o less).  The problems starts
at the first page... in the original we can read:

                        ARISTIDE
                           ou
                      l'Ind�cision

The `'' is not correctly imported (abiword shows a tiny space, and if I
make a save as... .abw I can see that Abiword thinks that the `'' is
’ (even worse, if I print the document, I obtain a new line).

I've tried to import the document using wvware.com, and it works
correctly (it imports `'' like an `'').

The second problem comes with the line "That I can never be the same..."
Abiword converts this line in: "That I can never be the same…",
and if I print the document I obtain:
                                                               That I
can never be the
                      same&

(the original text if left aligne, so the correct print version must be:
                                                       That I can never
be the same...
)
