I say Abiword shall absolutely be included, eigther as 0.7.11 or 0.7.12 or 0.9.
What are the specs for 0.9 ?
I think you should list everything planned for 0.9, and post here a weekly updated
todo list and have the aim set to be ready for Gnome 1.4.
If some feature is not finished in time, release 0.7.12 without this feature, and let
0.7.12 be included in gnome.
To get Abiword included in Gnome is important both for Abiword and Gnome, and the more
features that make it for the release the better.

HI everyone (and particularly SourceGear guys),
the gnome team is shooting for a 1.4 release in about 7 weeks.
We have an opportunity to be included in this release. The potential
impact on us of sticking our hand up now (saying we want to be included)
is that we may be rushed to put out a new release when were not quite
ready. On a general principles however the timescale fits in with our aim
of having a new release every 6 - 8 weeks. It would be nice to have 0.90
by then but everything seems to tak elonger than I thought :-(
On the other hand we could just offer 0.7.11 and do our own thing :-)
Any opinions?
