My apologies, I was just being silly.
I did the following in order to get
abisuite-0.7.8-FreeBSD_i386_dynamic.tar.gz to work under FreeBSD 3.3:
# cd /usr/X11R6/lib/
# ln -s libgdk11.so libgdk11.so.1
# cd /usr/local/lib/
# ln -s libgmodule12.so libgmodule12.so.1

My first impression is: very nice. I like the LaTeX export mode and
Emacs bindings. I remember thinking that when companies started
releasing Office Suites for Unix that none offered Emacs/Vi binding
for word processors by default. This is a definitely one of the
coolest features.
And speaking of Emacs bindings, when I press "Meta-f", in order to
move word forward, I do move a word forward but I also open the "File"
menu. So my question to the AbiWord users is:
Is there a way, when Emacs bindings are enabled, to turn off default
AbiWord bindings, eg. "Meta-v" to move the page up but not open the
"View" menu aswell ?
And developers, thank you for the cool product.
