I did a complete re-install of gtk via the helix updater. I have gtk-1.2.8
and nothing else.
I can reproducibally crash abi by atempting to spell check the attached
document. Spell-check assert,assert, segfault.
It appears to be some weirdness doing a UT_UCS conversion to multibyte. I
may just have my locale setup wrong. I don't know.
