AbiWord on Red Hat 6.2, anyone tried it?

If it hasn't become clear, I have been spending lots of time today in bugzilla. Another submission that I can't deal with is this one.... Has anybody on the list tried AbiWord on Red Hat 6.2?

AbiWord does NOT work on RH 6.2 Beta ( Piglet ).. The RPM does not work,
neither the tar.gz ( static ).. I've used Abiword for a while and like it,
my BeOS version works fine..
The program simply, will not load.. Executing it makes the HD spin, thats about
it..
