Well, I have to view this from a users point of view.  In the non-debug
build, on Windows, when you select Word count, nothing happens.  I know
work has been done to code it, but until somebody completes the work to
make it visible, let it get tested, and fix whatever problems arise, it
isn't done.

Yes, this was an oversight on my part.  Trying to put six weeks of
jam-packed commits into a 1 1/2 page document is delicate, and I usually
don't give everyone the credit they deserve.
