Sorry, can't resist :). I know someone who wrote his Physics Ph.D. Thesis on
punch cards. And no, I'm not making that up.

When aaah wer a lad... :)

I wrote mine in Latex. Come to think of it, I did end up doing a modicum
of hacking at postscript with a text editor, but only very minor bits.
