Hehe, good question. The short story is that AbiWord would segfault while
importing while in the third wvTrace. I tried to convert using wvHtml (no
wvTraces enabled) and things worked. So it seemed "obvious" to comment out
the macros.
I know that all this is doing is either:
1) Covering up some bug somewhere
2) Exploting a misconception of Caolan's
Since all the wvTrace did was to print a member of an array (neither of
which are used in the rest of the function body), it didn't seem too evil.
