Maybe try changing the cast to a <XAP_UnixFrame *>. Things sould work 
all-right still. If it works for you, draw up a patch and commit the 
changes(I'm on a Win2k box until 6 so I can't test this myself). Please 
include the small list dialog changes from my earlier patch too.
