Hmm.  You guys might want to hold off on putting on this change, as
it's bound to bug a few people, since it makes the fonts available to
every application.  But it was the only way that abiword worked on
redhat 7.0 *without* helix-gnome or anything like that.

Damned if we do, damned if we don't.
