AbiWord now (optionally) has GnomeVFS support in some of its exporters
(namely, all of the text and XML exporters). Compile with ABI_OPT_GNOMEVFS=1

For the uninitiated, GnomeVFS lets you read/write documents abstractly. For
example, you can read/write something that's on a http or ftp server, or
inside a jar/zip/tgz archive, provided that you have a driver for that
source type.

I've tested this against VFS 0.4.2 but it should also work against older
versions.
