Re: standard .el file to setup styles?

HI everyone,
            As an elisp challenged Emacs user who has almost certainly
been guilty of many incorrect indents in abi, can someone forward an .el
file I can paste into my .emacs that is guarenteed to work and won't
screw up my colours?

I got my .emacs from someone who got it from someone else etc etc.
