Sounds great.  First step is to subscribe to the abiword-dev mailing
list.  Instructions for that are on the website,
http://www.abisource.com.  Bringing the Be build up to speed will be a
big job, but I'm sure you'll do well.

  My name is Jimmy Sciacca, I'm a computer teacher and been programming 
in Be for @ a year ( not long, I know ) but anything to help out my 
favorite OS.
