Q: Auto Save checkbox in Prefs dialog

   Where should the new Auto Save option go in the Preferences dialog?  It
looks like it's currently located in the Schemes tab in Unix (from what I
can see in the code).  The BiDi option is also on that tab, oddly
enough.  Do we need to find a new home for these miscellaneous
options?  They don't quite feel like they belong on the Schemes tab.

   Does the Preference Schemes stuff even work, for that matter?
