I would like to see what these Catalan strings look like in AbiWord, so I typed this: export LC_ALL=ca_ES abiword and it came up in English, with warnings "locale not supported by C library". I set it to fr_FR and it comes up in French. I installed the Catalan locale RPM, and that got rid of the warning, but it still comes up in English. Why? phma
