Verbose debug output

People,

When adding debug messages, please try to remember to disable / remove
them when you have fixed the problem you were hunting. Working with a
debug build produces an incredibly verbose log - easily
megabytes. Most of that is just junk to everybody but the person
adding the message, so please try to keep debug messages in the tree
to a minimum.
