Hello!
The Abiword Tinderbox is only detecting problems with BeOS and Windows,
but the today's CVS Abiword doesn't compile on RedHat Linux 7
(gcc-c++-2.96-69) either.
Perhaps you should consider using a newer compiler on some of your Linux
boxes - they report more warnings and errors.
It looks like somebody is trying to discard "const" on some pointers.
