I have realised that the Unix ttf support currently works only for 
locales using iso8859-1 and utf-8 encodings; this due to the fact 
that the type 42 font we generate is coded to the Adobe Standard 
Encoding. I have put a note concerning this to the UnixFonts.txt file.

I am currently reworking the ttf utilities and when I am done, this 
limitation will be lifted.
