Build brokage !!!

Sam,

Since the autoconf patch, the build system is/can be broken:
"make distclean" erase Makefiles (while autoconf generated makefiles are 
GNUMakefile).

Other than that, a
        make distclean
        cvs update (to refetch makefiles)
        make
gives:
        make: *** No rule to make target 
`/Users/hub/abisource/abi/config.status', needed by `GNUmakefile'.  Stop.
