HI Greg,
        OK, it sounds like there are some stable cofigure and *.o files
lying around in the peer directories.

Here are some really dumb things to try. Go into the peer
directory: psiconv.

Do:

make clean

go into abi/src

rm -r Lin*

go to abi

make realclean

make install
