try installing the nightly over an older build.  
spellcheck definately wont work unless a dictionary is present and it is
not included with Nightly builds Mike provided

Does abiword does not seem to give any warnings if the spellchecker is
not present.  I used an older full build and deleted the dictionary. 
When i put it back it ran as normal

Anyone got a Time Estimate on the release?
