This is my first post to the abiword-dev mailing list. I love abi, but
program little to I have not seen a way to contribute until now. A document
was posted recently about possible ways to market abi to a wide audience, I
read it. I was particularly intrigued by the idea of creating AOL-style
free CDs for placement at the local grocery store, or mom-and-pop computer
shack. I don't know if someone has taken up leadership of such a project,
but I would like to.

The project would involve designing art for the box, CDs, and CD wrappers,
arranging/paying for the manufacturing of such items, placement of such
items, and the file/dirrectory structure of the (semi)official CD-ROM.

I am a student at the local community college, with some experience in the
GIMP, and various other graphics manipulation packages, extensive experience
supporting end users (on win & linux), and lots of spare time on my hands.

I would appreciate any input at all, but a message or two from the
designer(s) of the various abi logos and art would be much appreciated.
