Or, perhaps to use the SEGV handler even for Win32 (at least in the RELEASE
builds)? Disregarding Microsoft documentation, which you often have to do
since it's often inaccurate or plain wrong, their runtime library nowadays
_do_ support handling of the SEGV signal. In fact, AFAIK it has has
supported SEGV for at least 3-4 years.
