Hi

I'm currently trying to fix a bug . I use Abiword on a french version of Win98 and everything in the UI is translated except for the Preferences dialog box. I checked the fr-FR.po file and it has the translated DLG_Options_ strings in it.

1- Can anyone tell me in which cpp file I can begin to look for the bug?

2- I noticed some inconcistencies in some translated strings (ie: "Hidden Text" to "Cacher le Texte" which mean Hide text and not Hidden text) and some string are not translated at all. I also noticed some extract and update perl scripts in the PO directory and I'm wondering what those are for since I can edit the PO files in an editor. Do I *have* to use these scripts or I can do whatever suits me?
