Just to give you a bit of encouragement I'm not sure what your doing wrong,
but it should definitely work. It was very simple for me, I installed MSVC 6
(with all options) and inserted the VCVARS32.BAT text into the top of my
cygwin.bat. Also I installed ALL of the cygwin packages. Worked the 1st
time. I suggest reinstalling everything (ALL options, MSVC and Cygwin) and
pasting the VCVARS32.bat into cygwin.bat.

P.S. put the abisource tree in your cygwin folder, that works pretty well.

Still can't get it to compile after tweaking a bunch
