Hi folks, Once again, I feel like I should apologize. You can't imagine how much I wish I had the time to just code solutions for the kinds of issues I've been commenting on recently. Heck, I wish I had time to just file proper bug reports and not bother the list.
I'm notorious for being finicky about clean file formats and pixel perfection in the apps I work on. These are the kinds of things I used to just fix quietly without most folks noticing or caring too much about the specifics. They might notice how clean the results feel, but like anything that Just Works, the whole point is to make it all seem effortless. Now I'm so crunched for time that I'm never sure whether to keep quiet about annoyances like this just to avoid annoying people. However, my hope is that people can take my feedback in the spirit it's offered. These are things that bug me, but I won't be able to fix. If they bug enough of you too, they might be fixed. If not, they won't. But if I never speak up, they almost certainly won't. So I'm erring on the side of more communication. Once again, these really aren't intended to be complaints. I'll never be able to express my wonder and appreciation at all the awesome work so many people continue to put into the development of a product I once used to think of as "my baby".
