I have made a galician ispell dictionary, and I would like to use it with Abiword. But the galician language is not included in the languages list that appears in the Tools-Language menu, even when there is a galician translation of abiword (a bit old).
In fact I am using the galician dictionary, after rename it as other language (I have rename it as deutsch.hash). Nevertheless this is not an optimal solution. A good solution, for the galician case, would be to include the galician language (gl or gl_ES) in the abiword language list. Another solution would be to include a few dummy languages (ex language1, language2...) in the abiword language list. So any user could use any new dictionary renaming it as language1, language2 ... In this case is necessary to explain in the documentation how to do it. An optimal solution would be that abiword were able to recognize the dictionaries actually installed. So it would show only these dictionaries (languages). As Communicator do. The galician language is denoted by gl or gl_ES. The galician ispell dictionary can be found at: http://ispell-gl.sourceforge.net/ispell-gl-en.html http://sourceforge.net/projects/ispell-gl Could somebody to implement a good solution? Thanks for your excellent work Ramn
