There is an official Debian AbiWord package maintained by
Masayuki Hatta <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. Please try that instead,
and use "debuild" and friends
(instead of make distribution ABI_DIST_TARGET=deb)
to make the package. You may find it here:
http://packages.debian.org/abiword
The latest build is abiword 0.99.3+cvs.2002.03.18-1 :-)
(Masayuku is really good at keeping the package up-to-date. :-)
