Tested with 0.99.5 > gnome version. But in linux, > we still need encoding specifications files > (*.hash-encoding, needed for some > non ISO-8859-1 languages, for example Lithuanian) > for *.hash files > (*.hash-encoding files don't needed only if word > exist in custom.dic, maybe > because words in custom.dic are stored in unicode)
Can somebody do me a favour and put in a UT_ASSERT() in the case where we attempt to use a spelling hash without the *.hash-encoding file. I think it's non-deterministic to support spelling without this file even for ISO-8859-1. Does Abi assume the system encoding or always assume 8859-1? Either seems like an invalid assumption to me. I think this is giving us trouble now or will in the future. Please tell me if, why, and how you think I may be wrong here (: Andrew Dunbar. ===== http://linguaphile.sourceforge.net http://www.abisource.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
