In theory not using the configure and using diving Makefile should almost work. One of the problem is "ut_endian.h" which DO NOT contain definitions for AIX . The other problem would be xlC but since you use gcc, this is not longer a problem. Apparently people that have an AIX machine don't know and people who knows don't have AIX. Anyone willing to sponsor ? I volunteer for the rest. Hub
