I've recently talked with Mike Potter, Mostafa, and Peter Bojanic from OEone. Firstly, I'm going to apologize publicly for my previous email, which should have been sent through better channels. In the future, if we have problems with OEone, we should contact Peter Bojanic directly <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Our problem lied mostly in a communications breakdown. The OEone source rpms didn't contain the changes to stock AbiWord because they're basically shipping an unmodified AbiWord component. We were never alerted to their plugin sources being located in another location, hence this snafu. Most of OEone's work that would interest us is contained at: http://www.mozdev.org/source/browse/abimoz/plugin/ though their sources are admittedly a bit out of data and behind the times. Other work can be found at: ftp://ftp.oeone.com/pub/homebase/1.3/SOURCES/OEone-Packages-SOURCE/penzilla-gutenberg-0.8.11-oe1.src.rpm What we've resolved: *) OEone will update to AbiWord 1.0.1 or 1.0.2 in the near future *) OEone will update their plugin sources and post them online when they do so *) OEone's artist will supply me personally with an OEone logo suitable to linking from *) I have removed the press release statement *) No mention of this will be in the weekly news (my decision) *) Official contact will be conducted between Peter and myself *) I will make a link from our site to OEone (my decision) *) We will continue building great software :) Again, I apoligize for the communication breakdown. You all can go about your lives again! Dom
