for A in *.ttf; do ttftool -f $A -a `echo $A | sed \
's/\.ttf/.afm/g'`; done
thanks, the script works... but now i need to have my ttf AND afm fonts
in the folder (or apparently, i don't have any fonts????), and still on
abiword startup, it gives off stink that adobe-full.u2g doesn't
exist.... sheesh.
btw does anyone know how to make a fonts.scale file from a non-ttf file?
thanks again,
Sam

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right
keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.
