Yep. Here's the relevant distinction. Peers are where we keep our (stable) copies of other people's actively-maintained libraries. The only changes there are build system cruft, if needed, and perhaps bug fixes that haven't yet been accepted upstream. By contrast, abi/src/other is where we park stuff that we *do* need to fork for some reason (such as our extensive surgery on a subset of the ispell code). In general, our historical preference has been to use code as peers when we can (ie, other people are actively maintaining it, and we just do version upgrades as needed). I know that this policy can be obnoxious for people maintaining our build system, but it's nice for all the rest of us. Paul
