Being bored, I merged the GTK2 branch with HEAD locally. After quite some merge errors and the porting of the Insert Table, Mark Revisions and List Revisons dialogs to GTK2, everything was able to compile and run, also with Xft turned on!
Everybody loves screenshots, so get it here: http://pino.frontisterion.nl/uwog/abiword-gtk2-xft.jpg I'll do some random cleanup of the code to get most things to work nicely. When I'm done with that, I plan to commit all the changes to HEAD, which will remove the current GTK1.2 support. Also, the GNOME build will be TOTALLY broken, since no work on that has been done. Very much of the old GNOME code can be ditched though, cause most of it is now handled by GTK2. Anyone care for a GNOME2 port? Marc
