i know that too and have previously agreed that i probably misinterpreted
earlier emails from people at sourceger

ill try and dig out the email from Eric from the archives if i can, but i
am not claiming that we are allowed use the sourcegear artwork but i seem
to be unable to say that clearly, i just dont like the ant.

i will have to also dig up the mail where a user said people were spooked
by abiword grabbing the file associations and the icons changing to a
picture of a bug (they did not see Abi the ant as a friendly mascot).

The point i was trying to make was
by all means use the unix splash screen
(but i disagree with reason martin gave for using it)

and on the seperate matter, can we get a replacement icon for windows that
is not an Ant.

at this point i hate that ant so much i am more than happy to go with the
unix 48x48 scaled down to 32x32 even if it does look blocky and
pixellated.
