If i understand you correctly (it is quite possible i dont) abiword does not yet have a facility/functionality for AutoCorrect.
This bug is related to a whole bunch of autoreplace autocorrect issues. http://bugzilla.abisource.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2322 The files I sent were examples Auto Correct Lists (.acl) from MSOffice and most likely were binary OLE files (the local verson of file just says they are data). Anyone who has used office will probably have a .acl file in the profile data, so if you want more data they should not be hard to find.
