How about this?: s-(SIL code):(country code):(dialect code):(orthography code):(century)
I don't know what a dialect or orthography code looks like, so I'll make something up. Examples: s-src:at:burgenland:latin:19 s-gko::ionic:greek:-4 s-gko::mycenean:linear-b:-13 s-gln:es::pt:18 s-ydd:pl:mid:yivo:19 (SIL lists Eastern Yiddish and Western Yiddish as distinct languages. Raphael?) If there is no SIL code for a language, use the ISO 639 code, with a hyphenated extension if it's not a single language code. phma
