Sounds like a good change to me. Not sure why I didn't do this
initially, come to think of it. I will do this.

Are there any particular considerations/requirements for the XP layer
that I should keep in mind?

A MacOS X port would be uber-cool. Glad to see we're one step closer to
this goal.
