 replied (also off list) and suggested that the problem was that voting
for the "AbiWord Future" (or whatever it is) product was not enabled.

He suggested I try a bug for AbiWord and, yes, I can vote for that, so
 I believe he hit the nail on the head.

I'm copying this to the list so that the situation is recognized -- I'm
not sure whether it is intentional or accidental.
