AbiWord is a free, fully featured, cross platform word processor which runs light and fast. [That's the brief one-liner version] It is currently maintained by Dom Lachowicz (Head Maintainer), Hubert Figuiere (Maintainer), Mark Gilbert (Maintainer). Regards -MG
