I dont even get this far if I build straight from abi for lack of depcomp, though configure generates the Makefile, which refs its own in. *shrug*
At least diving make works. However, I am not inclined to do anything about it. People building on linux or any of the common unices should not be using peer libpng, or peer anything (except libiconv in a few cases). We only ship the peer modules and maintain them in cvs for the sake of win32 and possibly other platforms for which these products are not really supported upstream or convenient enuf to build. Get it from your distro or vendor or download from the official source. You'll probably have more success. -MG (someone poke kjd, make sure everything is fine on windows) On Sun, 2003-02-02 at 09:45, Eric Zen wrote: > On 2003.02.02 04:33 Rajiv Srinivasa wrote: > Hash: SHA1 > > Tried gmake: same error: > > make -C /usr/src/packages/SOURCES/abiword/libpng > make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/packages/SOURCES/abiword/libpng' > Makefile:159: *** missing separator.
