Abiword is a MSWord workalike that is under development and is at
present incomplete. I use it to read the occasional MSWord doc that
comes my way. It is worth every cent I paid for it ;-) M$Word is not a
game -- it is a joke, and the joke is on those who pay good money for
it. If you want an (arguably) better freebie word processor consider Lyx
which comes with the TeX package of typesetting software (visit
www.tug.org for details.)
I am very gratefutl to those who have expended the time and effort to
improve Abiword. I hope they will get the remaining bugs ironed out.
