I downloaded the tar format, statically linked version. Installation went
fine. But on starting AbiWord, I get the following messages:
Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by Xlib, locale set to C
Gdk-WARNING **: can not set locale modifiers
AbiWord then dumps core with the following message:
701 segmentation fault $ABISUITE_HOME/bin/AbiWord_s "$@"
My last version was 0.7.9, which worked perfectly. I've been waiting for
this upgrade for a l-o-n-g time, so it's pretty frustrating to get this
kind of thing happening.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what's going wrong?
